Eirini Apostolatou...Dancer

Back in March I held an audition at The Basement looking for two dancers who were interested in performing 'Digital Tattoo'. I was very greatful to meet the talented Eirini Apostolatou. Read about her here:

Eirini Apostolatou graduated from the National School of Dance, Athens, where she achieved a high level of technical training, in addition to the acrobatics (gymnastics champion of Greece, 1998-2003).

After her graduation she joined Jasmin Vardimon Company for the professional development certificate (JV2) and after the main company for the Sampled festival at Sadler’s Wells, London.

As a dancer she has collaborated and performed for choreographers and directors such as Rootlessroot, Johannes Wieland, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Christine Gouzelis & Paul Blackman, David Lloyd, Anton Lachky and more.

She has performed internationally in festivals at Frankfurt, Spain, Greece, Rotterdam and London.

Eirini is currently based in London working with companies as a dancer and a performer. She parallel teaches and is now beginning to develop her own choreographic work.
