HOW TO BEGIN AFTER A SIX MONTH BREAK...

Last Wednesday we went back into rehearsal for Digital Tattoo, six months after our initial three research and development days.

Having spent time in between researching further and developing my understanding of how to project onto the body, I was really excited to get back into the studio and revisit material, working deeper into it. Working with ideas of human contact, digital traces and exposure we also created new material, working purely on concept and the physical movement within the piece.

Since then, I have met with photographer Eleanor Kelly, Film Documenter Sophie Newton and Designer Jennifer Rose, each element and collaborator starting to come together. I have also done a talk at Radio Reverb which can be heard here:
